The installer handles the technical work. You follow the guided steps, and LayMatched takes care of the rest.

    Choose a VPS

    We recommend Fasthosts VPS 4 with Ubuntu 24.04 LTS — comfortable specs, fair price.

  2. 02

    Create your server

    Pick Ubuntu 24.04 LTS, set up access, note the IP address. Your provider guides you.

  3. 03

    Run the installer

    A short, copyable command sequence. No building, no compiling, no source code needed.

  4. 04

    Open LayMatched

    Your private app runs at your address, secured with HTTPS. Open it from any device.

  5. 05

    Add your accounts

    Connect Betfair API and bookmaker details. Credentials stay on your server.

  6. 06

    First match

    Find an offer, follow the guidance, record what happened, see the real result.

Choosing a VPS

A comfortable spec, not the cheapest.

LayMatched runs happily on a reasonably specced VPS. We recommend the VPS 4 (4 vCPU / 4GB RAM / 120GB NVMe) — it gives headroom to grow without being the absolute cheapest option — and Ubuntu 24.04 LTS as the OS.

Fasthosts is a recommendation, not a requirement. Any VPS with Ubuntu works. Prices checked August 2026, exclude VAT, subject to change.

The installer is a small set of deployment files — a download script, a container configuration and an example settings file — that we're preparing now.
